The Chita fabric is a piece of Portuguese tradition that is second to none.
In the 15th century, the fabric was brought from India to Portugal by Vasco da Gama and is still made entirely by hand today.
There is no mass production, which means no two Chita are alike. Depending on the colors and patterns used, the Chita has a different meaning. Some are more feminine, vibrant, romantic, or minimalist.
